When we listen to a truthful story we are taken on a journey. Stories connect our heads and our hearts–they help us have pictures of what love and courage and healing and hope actually look like. Stories connect us. They create pathways that change our attitudes, opinions, and behaviors. Stories can break us open.
The big Story of the gospel not only shows us what God looks like, but is also a story that has the intent of transforming us, if we let it, into becoming what we are meant to be.
